1.A The Kiwoshima girls did not think that it was safe for a Japenese girls to live in a korea at this time. In specific Pusan was horrible because there were several occasions of rape that they saw even before the party of drunken koreans celebrating there freedom and the drunk men were raping many people.
1.B If I was one of the three girls I would want to leave Hideyo because I wouldn't know if he is dead or not. One problem would be having to contact him it would be extremely hard because there were no cell phones back then. But at least the girls left without him for a good reason all of the girls in that family were in danger of being raped.
Question: If you were Hideyo would you be angry if your family left you in another place that you didnt know and there were crazy men around?
Answer: I would be really pissed because there would be no communication but after a while of thinking I would come to my senses and realize that the town that they were refuging in was full of perv's and leach's(stocker/pervert).

2 I wouldn't be mad I would be afraid because you are around all these strangers and you don't know where your family went and if they got hurt.
I would be a little bit scared because I wouldn't have known where my family was. But I think the situation that they,ve been through would be more important than geting upset.
1(a)- I agree and I don;t think anyone would feel safe there.
1(b)- I also agree and I also think they were kind of scared to see what had happened to Hideyo.
2- Well not really because it was back then and Hideyo was the one who decided to try out for the army or whatever and I think he can handle it.
